The two days were packed with inspiring keynotes, informative concurrent sessions and several opportunities to network, participate and learn from one another to grow the richness of the NSF INCLUDES National Network. Contributed by Roxanne Metz More than 100 faculty, counselors, student support specialist, employer partners, and other stakeholders from across the country attended the NSF INCLUDES Alliance STEM Core Expansion National Convening. The convening, held at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory in Menlo Park, CA (March 8, 2019), focused on strengthening STEM Core pathways to the tech economy. James Campos, director of the Office of Economic Impact and Diversity at the U.S. Department of Energy, delivered the keynote address.
