APLU Virtual Event Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month: Celebrating the Critical Role of Hispanic Serving Institutions
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, join the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities and the Coalition of Urban Serving Universities on Monday, October 4 from 2:00-3:00pm EDT for a special virtual event celebrating the critical role public four-year Hispanic Serving Institutions play in educating and serving the Latino community. During the event, three leaders at public Hispanic Serving Institutions will share their perspectives on the value and importance of HSIs in educating today and tomorrow’s learners. The HSI leaders will detail how their university is intentionally celebrating and leveraging their HSI identity and creating supportive environments for their Latino faculty, staff, and students.
