The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) supports rigorous research that addresses the nation's most pressing education needs, from early childhood to adult education. IES also supports a comprehensive program of education research designed to expand knowledge and understanding of infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities and those at risk for disabilities. In collaboration with the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Black Americans, this session will provide a brief overview of IES funding opportunities, followed by an interactive discussion on how to leverage Black voices in education research.
