Exploring Emotional Intelligence: Key Factors for Inclusive Excellence

Through our partnership with the Inclusive Graduate Education Network, an NSF INCLUDES Alliance, we are holding a five-part workshop series that focuses on the development of social-emotional competencies that are essential for success in graduate education and future career performance. Workshops suitable for students and faculty.

  3. Self-Management Session - October 12, 2022

  4. Social Awareness Session - January 11, 2023

  5. Relationship Management Session - April 12, 2023

All sessions offered from 12:00pm-1:00pm Eastern Time (9:00am-10:00am Pacific Time) OR
5:00pm-6:00pm Eastern Time (2:00pm-3:00pm Pacific Time)

Decades of research show that emotional intelligence (EI) competencies demonstrate strong relationships to important academic and workplace outcomes.  Research also shows that EI competencies are not dependent on race, gender, or culture of origin, and that anyone can improve their EI with learning and coaching.

These workshops will cover:
